Mushroom ragut


  • 1/2 kg of mushrooms.
  • 1 large chicken
  • 100 g of Serrano ham.
  • 3 ripe tomatoes.
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 glass of white wine or sherry.
  • 1 onion.
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Pepper, oil and salt.


  1. The chicken is washed well, chopped, and seasoned with salt and pepper. The mushrooms are cleaned with a brush or a paper napkin and set aside. In a saucepan, add oil to cover the bottom and sauté the onion cut into fine rings and the minced garlic cloves. Then the peppers in strips and the chicken are added, frying everything a little. Next, add the ham cut into small cubes and the chopped tomatoes. Then the white wine and a glass of water are poured. It will cook everything until the chicken is almost done. At this point, the sliced ​​mushrooms are added and kept over low heat; when the chicken is tender and the mushrooms are cooked, remove the container. This dish can be served with white rice.
